Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
45-year-old female with a prior history of right breast cancer, bilateral mastectomies, and a history of radiation therapy to her right chest. She underwent delayed, bilateral latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 425 cc (right) and 375 cc (left) silicone implants. After photos were taken 1.5 years following her second stage surgery and completion of nipple reconstruction with efforts at areola color restoration.
Procedure: Delayed Breast Reconstruction
