Description:
Two-stage expander to implant reconstruction after nipple-sparing mastectomies
45-year-old female with a strong family history of breast disease who underwent prophylactic, bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate reconstruction using tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 640 cc silicone implants and fat grafting was performed to her bilateral breasts. After photos taken 6 months after her second stage surgery.
