Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
48-year-old female with a diagnosis of right breast cancer. She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate reconstruction using latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flaps and placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 365 cc silicone implants and autologous fat grafting was performed along her bilateral breasts. She underwent areola restoration with 3D nipple tattooing techniques. After photos were taken 1 year following her second stage surgery.
