Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
60-year-old female with a diagnosis of left breast cancer. She underwent unilateral left-sided skin-sparing mastectomy with latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap reconstruction and placement of a tissue expander. At the time of her second stage surgery, left expander was exchanged for 385 cc silicone implant and nipple reconstruction was performed. She simultaneously underwent breast augmentation on her right breast with 190 cc silicone implant and a peri-areolar mastopexy to assist with optimizing symmetry. She had 4D nipple tattooing. After photos were taken 1 year following her second stage surgery.
