Description:

48-year-old female with genetic susceptibility for breast cancer. She underwent prophylactic, bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate reconstruction using latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flaps and placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 650 cc silicone implants, autologous fat grafting was performed, as was a skin-tightening mastopexy and bilateral nipple reconstruction. She also underwent areola restoration using 3D-tattooing techniques. After photos were taken 6 months following her second stage surgery.
