Description:

51-year-old female with a diagnosis of left breast cancer and a prior breast augmentation. She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with removal of her prior implants, immediate reconstruction using latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flaps and placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 605 cc silicone implants, autologous fat grafting was performed, as was bilateral nipple reconstruction. She also underwent areola restoration using 3D-tattooing techniques. After photos were taken 3 years following her second stage surgery.
