We Spend Time with You
During your initial consultation, Dr. Cohn awill spend as much time as is needed discussing your concerns and desires. A second consultation is typically scheduled before the surgery date. At that appointment, you will discuss any further questions you have about the details of the surgical procedure. Dr. Cohn will take a comprehensive approach to how we treat our patients, and all surgical procedures are individualized for each patient to address their specific needs and goals. Patient education and involvement during the decision-making process is a priority and strength of our practice philosophy.

Dr. Cohn performs surgeries in our accredited operating room and in accredited hospital settings with experienced personnel to ensure a complete focus on surgical safety and surgical resources. He has operating privileges at many of the hospitals in the Birmingham and surrounding area.

For our elective cosmetic procedures, Cohn Plastic Surgery participates with CosmetAssure, a program that is exclusively available to active and candidate members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Complications from cosmetic procedures are rare, but when they do occur, most traditional insurance companies will not cover the cost of the complications, even if it is considered medically necessary. There are several options to finance cosmetic surgery. Cohn Plastic Surgery accepts most major credit cards, as well as participates with Care Credit, a health care financing program.
