Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
63-year-old female with a prior history of bilateral mastectomies. She underwent delayed, bilateral latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 520 cc silicone implants. She also underwent nipple reconstruction and autologous fat transfer to her breasts at the time of her second—stage procedure. After photos were taken 6 months following her second stage surgery.
