Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
55-year-old female with a prior history of left breast cancer and a left-sided mastectomy. She underwent delayed TRAM flap reconstruction of her left breast. She also underwent right breast lift/mastopexy at the time of her initial reconstruction to assist with long-term symmetry. At the time of her second stage surgery, fat grafting to her right breast and nipple reconstruction to her left breast were performed. After photos were taken 5 years following her second stage surgery and completion of areola restoration on the left.
