Description:
Two-stage expander to implant reconstruction after nipple-sparing mastectomies
50-year-old female with a prior history of cosmetic submuscular breast implants who underwent prophylactic, bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 485 cc silicone implants and fat grafting was performed to her bilateral breasts. After photos taken 2 years after her second stage surgery.
