Reconstructive Breast Surgery
Description:
51-year-old female with a diagnosis of left breast cancer. She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap reconstruction and placement of tissue expanders. At the time of her second stage surgery, expanders were exchanged for 485 cc silicone implants. She also underwent autologous fat transfer and had a skin-tightening mastopexy. After photos were taken 3 months following her second stage surgery. She did not desire to undergo nipple reconstruction and is considering areola restoration with 3D tattoo techniques.
Procedure: Latissimus Flap Reconstruction
